After almost an entire year of preparation, 3D BROD can finally and proudly announce that the ocXRayz development project has been approved for co-funding by the European Union.
The project is supported under the “Competitiveness and Cohesion 2021–2027” Programme from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project focuses on the development of an innovative XR (Extended Reality) software solution for real-scale visualization and on-site inspection of ship structural models based on the OCX XML standard. Project started with the final quarter of 2025., with the project activities started in September and the co-funding contract formally active from November 2025.!
This support represents an important milestone for 3D BROD, enabling the transition from primarily service-based activities towards the development of a proprietary high-technology product, as well as strengthening our position within the European shipbuilding and maritime engineering ecosystem.
